Introduction

This statement is made pursuant to section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps that Vortek Design Ltd has taken, and will continue to take, to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking are not taking place within our business or supply chains.

Vortek Design Ltd has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery, and we are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships.

 

Our Business and Supply Chains

Vortek Design Ltd is a technical production company based in the UK providing AV solutions for large-scale events, brand activations, and live events. We work with a network of suppliers and partners both in the UK and internationally. We are mindful that supply chains can present risks of modern slavery and human trafficking, and we are committed to managing those risks responsibly.

 

Policies in Relation to Modern Slavery

We have implemented and maintain policies that reflect our commitment to ethical business practices, including:
- An Anti-Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy
- An Ethical Sourcing Policy
- A Whistleblowing Policy
- Fair recruitment and employment practices

 

Due Diligence and Risk Management

We take a risk-based approach to assessing our suppliers and business partners. Where risks are identified, we engage directly with suppliers to seek assurance and, where necessary, take action to address concerns. We expect all suppliers to uphold the same high standards and to comply with our Code of Conduct.

 

Training and Awareness

We provide training and resources to our employees to ensure that they understand the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking and know how to identify and report concerns. Awareness is embedded in our procurement and HR processes.

 

Commitment to Continuous Improvement

We are committed to improving our practices year on year. We will continue to review and strengthen our due diligence processes, supplier engagement, and staff training to mitigate the risk of modern slavery in our operations and supply chains.

This statement has been approved by the Board of Directors of Vortek Design Ltd and will be reviewed annually.
